Frequently Asked Questions
A View Of Worship (AVOW) is a subscription-based service that creates professionally notated SongSlides with words and music for congregational singing. Our mission is to enhance worship participation by providing easy-to-read and easy-to-follow notation slides.
AVOW is uniquely focused on providing musical notation alongside lyrics. While many services offer lyric-only slides, AVOW believes that projecting the notated music encourages greater participation, allowing voices to sing together in harmony. Our slides are specifically designed for readability and ease of use in worship settings.
AVOW offers annual subscription plans at competitive rates. The subscription fee is based on a yearly renewal and provides unlimited access to our library of over 1000 SongSlides. Please contact us for current pricing or visit our subscription page for more details.
Yes! We offer free sample SongSlides on our samples page where you can preview how our slides look and download samples to test with your presentation software.
Yes, your AVOW subscription is set to automatically renew annually on your subscription anniversary date. You'll receive a notification before the renewal occurs, and you can manage your subscription settings through your account dashboard.
AVOW SongSlides are provided in PowerPoint (.pptx) format, compatible with Microsoft PowerPoint, Google Slides, LibreOffice Impress, and most other presentation software. You don't need any special software beyond a standard presentation program.
AVOW offers SongSlides in four formats:
StandardNotation - Traditional music notation at a 4:3 aspect ratio
StandardWideScreen - Traditional music notation at a 16:9 aspect ratio
ShapedNotes - Shape note notation at a 4:3 aspect ratio
ShapedWideScreen - Shape note notation at a 16:9 aspect ratio
After logging in to your account, navigate to the SongSlides section where you can browse and search for songs. Select your desired song and choose the preferred notation format (Standard, StandardWide, ShapedNotes, or ShapedWideScreen). Click the download button, and the file will be saved to your device.
Yes, your church must have a valid CCLI (Christian Copyright Licensing International) license to use AVOW. This license covers the projection of lyrics, while AVOW handles the licensing for the notated music. When you report your CCLI usage, you should include SongSlides downloaded from AVOW.
While you can make minor adjustments for your display needs, copyright restrictions prohibit changing the lyrics without permission from the copyright owner. The SongSlides are designed to be used as provided, but you may choose to display only certain verses or sections as needed for your worship service.
No, your AVOW subscription and the downloaded SongSlides are non-transferable and must not be shared with other churches or organizations. Churches with multiple campuses must purchase separate subscriptions for each campus. Each subscription is tied to a specific CCLI license.
If you cancel your subscription, your access to download new SongSlides will end when your current subscription period expires. According to our Terms of Service, you will no longer have the right to use previously downloaded SongSlides after your subscription ends.
You can update your church information and manage your billing details through your account dashboard. After logging in, navigate to the Account section where you'll find options to update your profile, church details, and payment information.
When changing churches, you cannot transfer your existing subscription or SongSlides. You'll need to register a new account with your new church's CCLI license and subscribe separately. Please contact our support team if you need assistance with this transition.
